Calm. Contained. Safe.
A quieter, low-stimulus learning environment for children who need a gentler, more contained space to settle, breathe, and begin to engage with learning again.
Designed for children who need space to settle
Haven Nook is our smallest, quietest environment — designed with sensory sensitivity in mind. Soft lighting, minimal visual noise, and a very small team who know every child individually.
Haven Nook is particularly well-suited to children with high sensory sensitivity, significant anxiety, or a history of school avoidance. Rather than arriving into the busyness of a full centre, students here settle gradually, at their own pace.
Sessions include therapeutic, creative, and academic elements — introduced gently, never forced. Many children who come to Haven Nook having been out of education for some time leave it ready for something more.

Who Haven Nook is for
Haven Nook works best for children aged roughly KS1 to KS4 who are currently unable to access mainstream or busier alternative provision settings. This often includes children with autism, high anxiety, EBSA, or significant sensory needs.
Every placement begins with a careful assessment and a conversation with the family. We will only offer Haven Nook if we genuinely believe it is the right environment for a child at that moment.
