Tuition Extra
Website Vision V2
A calmer, clearer and more human digital experience.
Website Vision
The current Tuition Extra website contains a huge amount of valuable information, experience and provision. However, much of the organisation's structure is exposed too early within the visitor journey, making it harder for families, schools and local authorities to quickly understand where they fit and what support may be available.
Most visitors do not arrive thinking in terms of departments, pathways or organisational structure.
"Can you help this child?"
"Will they feel safe here?"
"Do you understand what we are dealing with?"
The proposed Version 2 direction focuses on creating a calmer and more intuitive experience built around visitor needs first. Rather than navigating through internal structures, visitors would be guided naturally based on who they are and what support they are looking for.
This would allow Tuition Extra to present itself not simply as a tutoring provider, but as a wider therapeutic education group supporting children and young people through personalised academic, vocational and wellbeing pathways.
The opportunity is to combine the clarity and structure of larger education organisations with the warmth, reassurance and child centred approach that already defines the Tuition Extra group.
Most importantly, the experience should feel human. Not a system to navigate. A place that understands.

Homepage Experience Strategy
The homepage should not attempt to explain the entire organisation immediately. Instead, the experience should gently guide visitors towards the area most relevant to them while building trust, reassurance and clarity throughout the page.
Conversion Strategy
The website should support multiple visitor types without overwhelming users. Conversion opportunities should appear naturally throughout the experience, built around trust first.
Family enquiries
Warm, calm routes for parents and carers seeking support.
Local authority referrals
Professional, structured pathways for local authority commissioning.
School partnerships
Clear information for schools and SENCos exploring provision.
Tutor recruitment
Values led registration and application journey.
Initial consultations
Low barrier first contact for families who need guidance.
Referral discussions
Professional enquiry routes with clear next steps.
Calls to action should remain calm, supportive and conversational. The objective is to build trust first and encourage contact naturally rather than creating a highly sales driven experience.

Why PAJO
PAJO approaches projects such as Tuition Extra differently from traditional web agencies. The focus is not simply visual redesign.
Visitor understanding
We start by understanding who is visiting and why, before designing anything.
Emotional clarity
Design that communicates clearly and calmly, reducing anxiety not adding to it.
Accessibility
Built for all users including those with visual, cognitive or sensory needs.
Technical performance
Fast, lightweight builds that score well on Core Web Vitals and mobile.
Search visibility
SEO integrated from the start, not bolted on at the end.
Long term scalability
Architecture designed to grow with the organisation over time.
"For organisations supporting children and young people, the digital experience itself becomes part of the reassurance process."
The result should not feel like a corporate education platform. It should feel human.
